"God gives us dreams, a size too big, so that we can grow in them"

   Dear One and All,
It gives me an immense feeling of joy to present my write up of the middle section of Mary Lucas School & College for the first time for the official website of the school. By God's grace we got our website inaugurated on the 4th of December, 2012 by the respected Chairman of our school Rt. Rev. Morris Edgar Dan, Bishop of Lucknow Diocese, CNI.

The website of an institution covers all the activities done in the past and it also manifests the seemingly routine processes and activities of the school life. The school life is a very routined life. Every academic session has its scheduled programme to be completed during the alotted time.

Our students acquire an education which is rooted in the essence of our traditional values. We, as teachers encourage them to be responsible and careful citizens of our country.

At MLS, our students do well not only in studies but also in various inter college competitions and extra curricular activities and secure commendable positions. The students of this section actively participate in inter-class and inter-house competitions.

It is important to recognize that sports and academics should go hand in hand. A healthy body is as important as a healthy mind. In the field of sports activities along with regular P.T., games like basketball, T.T. etc. are regularly practised under the expert guidance of trained instructors.

Various other activities like NCC, model class presentation, recitation, elocution, debate, quiz, art, craft & science exhibition and the Christmas Programme help our students to prepare for dynamic world challenges

We aim to achieve and attain new landmarks in every new academic session. My sincere and best wishes to all the students of Class VIII as after the gap of one year they appear for the ICSE board examination.

I would like to place on record my heartfelt thanks to the parents and grandparents for their continuous support at all times and for instilling their faith in us.

My sincere thanks to my team of teachers for handling their classes and duties assigned carefully.

I am ever grateful to our respected Principal Dr. (Miss) L. R. Anthony for the continuous support and encouragement extended to me at all times. I owe our success to the enlightening guidance of her who herself works hard to maintain the standard of the school and helps the students to reach greater heights.

Above all, I am greatly thankful to the Almighty for His mercy and blessings upon us.

Thank you and May God bless us all.
